Voices from the Partnership
“Through this collaboration with TNAU, we aim to empower small and marginal farmers with affordable mechanization and field-ready technologies,” said Antony Cherukara. “Students will also benefit from real-world exposure, including opportunities at our Global Technology Development Centre in Hosur.”
Dr. R. Thamizh Vendan highlighted the academic impact: “This initiative bridges research and practice, equipping our students with vital industry skills while ensuring farmers at the grassroots level have access to efficient, sustainable farming technologies.”
Echoing this, Dr. A. Raviraj said the collaboration will “develop the next generation of agri-tech professionals and strengthen Tamil Nadu’s agricultural productivity through tailored mechanization solutions.”
This alliance between academia and industry is expected to accelerate the adoption of modern agricultural practices, making farming more efficient, profitable, and sustainable for Tamil Nadu’s farming community.
